ROOTS Foundation championed a new era of Dutch bio-based and circular design, bringing together the full supply chain. From farmers to manufacturers, designers to builders to work towards sustainable innovation. Through its mission, the foundation aimed to inspire artists, designers, and architects, while educating younger generations about the importance of restoring and caring for Dutch soil.

Within this context, Sina Dyks presented Absorbed Jungle during Salone del Mobile. She was also a participant of Masterly Milano at the Palazzo Giureconsulti, where her work was shown as part of the Dutch collective presentation.

Her work reflected an engagement with recycled PET materials and processes, exploring the relationship between design, ecology, and sustainability. In doing so, her contribution formed part of a broader dialogue connecting artistic practice with environmental awareness, in line with ROOTS Foundation’s vision of fostering a more sustainable future.
